Craig Bellamy and James Collins will not be available per West Ham boss Alan Curbishley as they will not have recovered from injury for the World Cup qualifiers.

He noted, “I think the two players are going to be best served remaining with us and we will let John Toshack know that.”

Craig Bellamy injuries woes continue with a hamstring injury he suffered in a pre-season friendly at Ipswich Town that while it might not be too pleasant to hear, result from inappropriate conditioning methods and need to be dealt with or his injury-prone issues will continue throughout the balance of his career. James Collins suffered a serious knee injury in January and is wisely looking at a complete year-long recovery plan.
