Craig Bellamy’s scoring touch is back

January 10th, 2009 | By: j | No Comments »

Is it time to call the long scoring drought of Wales striker Craig Bellamy over? Certainly anyone who saw his brilliant goal for West Ham past Newcastle’s Shay Given can testify his touch is still there as after latching onto a Scott Parker through-ball he delicately lifted the ball over one of the Premier League’s best keepers. With four goals in the previous four matches that he has played, including two against Portsmouth on Boxing Day, Wales best striker appears to be firing on all cylinders at just the right time.

Don’t forget Wales meets Poland in a friendly on February 11.
