With England’s U-21 holding a 3-2 lead, Wales U-21 squad head to Villa Park with a date to the UEFA U-21 Euros on the line. Wales Under-21 manager Brian Flynn has swapped-in Sam Vokes from the Senior squad with Lewin Nyatanga called-up for John Toshack’s efforts against Germany on Wednesday. Stuart Pearce will have Middlesbrough Andrew Taylor, who missed the opening leg in Cardiff, available for the England

Wales has a hefty challenge ahead to offset the deficit but from ‘keepers Owain Fon Williams comments, is sounding positive:

“There were many positives we can take into Tuesday night’s decisive game.”

“We showed plenty of character and proved how strong our togetherness is by coming back from 2-1 down to give them a great game.

“We gave a top quality side like England a real good game and that is something we can built on.”
